Hand Woven Willow Casket

These are hand produced by a sheltered workshop – Recycle South – in Invercargill. The Enterprise provides employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.
The willow is grown and processed on the premises, and it takes two weeks to make each casket. We line them with unbleached calico and a wool mattress, and compostable cornstarch plastic liner.
